Totally un-frugal post
Sigh. Every so often I forget what a sucker I am for shoes. So I go and look at a sale. Then fall hopelessly in love with something gorgeous.
The chances of them being comfortable are slim. The chances of them actually getting worn (it's not like I have to dress up for work, nor do we go out all that often, let alone get dressy for it) are even slimmer. But... so pretty
And so I share my completely un-frugal longing with you. (Especially painful since I could get $20 off, plus 10% back via Ebates.)
I am not sure if I like these better in black -- it is all-purpose after all! -- or chocolate. Either is gorgeous. And $60.45. Sigh. Did I mention discounts and free shipping (and free returns)?
I like all three colors of these. I'd probably go with black. My old Mary Janes with a heel died awhile ago. At $62.95, though, they're not exactly something I should splurge on.
FYI, if anyone wants a $10 off coupon at Shoebuy.com, let me know and I can have it emailed to you. Not to enable, but you also get 10% off when you create an account.
I'm off to dream of more cute shoes I can't afford.

Back away from the shoe sales. LOL! You are like me I love a pretty pair of shoes but in all honesty a closet full of sneakers would be much more fitting to my current lifestyle. You do have good taste though.

:) I do like the first pair, but I know there's no way I could wear those for any length of time. Aside from the fact that I've already attended my last shindig for what'll probably be a very long time.

Those are beautiful shoes! I haven't purchased shoes in a while and I've been itching too. I don't think I'll indulge a scratch, though. If you hold off, I wonder if those shoes will be marked down even more?

Alane,
Yes, we have the girly love of purty shoes. But we're gals who more often wear sneakers! Granted, there's part of me that insists that I'd find a reason to wear them. But I only need to go over to my shoe rack to prove that's not all that true.
Revanche,
Yes, I'm trying to comfort myself with the knowledge that Nina shoes tend to have practically no padding. Gorgeous stuff, horribly uncomfortable. Especially when you weight more than a woman "should." That's a lot of weight for the balls of your feet. (But isn't it ALMOST worth the pain?! Yeah, probably not.)
Shtinkykat,
I suppose if it's truly meant to be, they'll go lower. I doubt it. On the other hand, they're not actually on sale just yet. The $20 off is a special promotion for the start of summer. So who knows?
I am totally smitten with pretty shoes. Until I remember a) how often I go out and b) how painful most shoes are after the first 10 to 30 minutes.
